Meet Susan Gilchrest

Susan Gilchrest and her business partner, Kelly Marcontell, work together to provide the highest level of service, professionalism, and market expertise to their clients. Together they have over $350 million in Real Estate in the past 3 years and more than $1 billion in their combined careers. A full-time real estate agent since 2007, Susan has a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service, understanding her clients’ unique needs, managing the buying and selling process, expertly preparing and marketing luxury homes for sale, and working in partnership with all parties through the closing.

Though raised in the New York City/Connecticut area, Susan is now a long-time proud Texan. After experiencing that welcoming Texas spirit firsthand, she is always excited to introduce her relocating clients to the area and highlight the unique personalities of each town and neighborhood.

Susan feels so blessed to be able to live and work here. As a mom who raised her children through Southlake Carroll ISD, she understands the importance of schools as a driving force in the home selection process. After relocating her family twice, she knows the process can be stressful for families, and works hand-in-hand with clients to make the transaction go as smoothly as possible.

Prior to her career in real estate, Susan was a marketing executive for a Fortune 100 company. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Finance) from Boston College School of Management and a Master of Business in Administration (Marketing) from Fordham University in New York City, where she graduated No. 1 in her class. She also holds numerous real estate professional designations. This unique combination of education and experience allows Susan to assist sellers in best positioning and marketing homes for today’s competitive environment. She also has extensive experience in working with buyers to find the right properties, write winning offers, and successfully closing transactions.

Susan is actively involved in her church and community. Her recently married son Matt graduated from Auburn and is a professional golfer. Her daughter Christina graduated from SMU and is now getting her MBA at Wharton in Philadelphia.
